What we offer

Astra and Lisa have joined forces to create the first aesthetics training academy to serve Devon, Cornwall and surrounding areas.

Our aesthetics training academy is based in Exmouth, Devon. Our training courses are hands-on with our trainers. We are based in East Devon, so we are accessible for those wanting to travel from Cornwall and Plymouth, and surrounding areas.

We have a team of Nurse Prescribers who run our aesthetic training courses, with years of experience in the aesthetics industry, and numerous teaching qualifications, you can be assured you’re getting the best advice and techniques, taught by professionals who carry out aesthetics treatments on a day-to-day basis.

We also have our Training Co-ordinator who helps with the general running of Devon and Cornwall Aesthetics and ensures the training days run as smoothly as possible.

Our team of aesthetic trainers offer courses designed to equip Doctors, Nurses, Dentists and other medical professionals with the knowledge and skills to carry out a range of facial aesthetic treatments from foundation level Botox, to advanced level Botox training and lip filler training to aesthetic complications training.

Astra Farmer

Director/Course Trainer

Astra is an Independent Registered Nurse prescriber; she runs a busy clinic in East Devon – A Little Enhancement Facial Aesthetics.

Astra’s nursing background includes cardiothoracic surgery, plastics and most recently tissue viability.

She now practises as a full-time aesthetics nurse and is well known for her skills in lip augmentation and treating skin concerns.

Astra is one of few injectors in the country to have been chosen by Allergan to attend their Medical Institute and has currently completed stage 3 of the programme, at Expert Level which is taught by global industry leaders.

Lisa Toomey

Director/Course Trainer

Lisa is an Independent Registered Nurse prescriber who owns a very busy aesthetics clinic in Devon.

Lisa has been nursing for 24 years and currently still works within emergency medicine, alongside running Exmouth Facial Aesthetics.

Lisa has numerous teaching qualifications and regularly teaches within her nursing role.

Lisa was trained by Bob Khanna, an industry master within the world of aesthetics.

Lisa has trained with some of the most well-respected aesthetics Doctors and Nurses within the industry and has been trained by Merz, Galderma and Teoxane.

Lisa’s passion lies with wrinkle relaxing injections and she is highly skilled in this area.

Heather Brock

Training Coordinator

Heather Brock is the training coordinator who ensures the day to day running of the academy runs smoothly. All enquires and course bookings are dealt with by Heather as well as coordinating all training programmes for delegates.

Heather has an extensive background in managerial roles including HR management within the NHS and most recently working in aesthetics where she ran a busy clinic in south Devon.
