Aesthetic & Cosmetic Treatment Shadowing

What to expect when shadowing in clinic:

Shadowing in clinic is for the most part observational only, you will not be carrying out treatments but will be spending the day with the clinician following them closely through in depth consultations and aesthetics treatments.
You will learn how to assess the face as a whole, how to mark up and inject confidently. You will have the opportunity at the end of the day to carry out a treatment on your own model and have that treatment overseen by the Aesthetic Nurse.

Why shadowing in clinic can help training aesthetics practitioners?

Shadowing is an excellent way to build your confidence and get a better understanding of how aesthetics treatments work in harmony with each other for natural results.
Have the chance to learn from an experienced injector to ask as many questions as you like to build your knowledge base.

What will I be taught during the in clinic shadowing?

Shadowing is observational only so you will only be able to carry out one aesthetic treatment, the rest of the day is observational only, however, you will be able to closely watch a highly skilled injector and learn new techniques as they talk you through the treatment step by step.

Who is suitable?

This is suitable for foundation level trained medical professionals looking to gain a greater understanding of clinical practice.

You do not need to have gained your foundation level training with The Devon and Cornwall Aesthetics Academy. We will need proof of foundation training at time of booking.
