How it works

By treating the Midface, in particular, the cheek area we are able to restore the loss of volume and reduce the lines that appear from our nose to mouth (nasolabial Folds) There are many types of filler on the market. At The Devon and Cornwall Aesthetics Academy, we only use premium brand, CE marked filler.

This type of filler is globally recognised, is extremely safe and of the highest quality, containing non-animal hyaluronic acid (which is naturally found in our bodies).

What to expect

The fillers we use are temporary and results for midface treatments can last between 12-18 months. The product is eventually broken down slowly by the body and absorbed. You can then decide if you wish to have more treatment to maintain the effect. Topical numbing cream is applied first and the dermal filler used also contains a local anaesthetic. The procedure is relatively pain-free.
